	EVENTS 40 Days for Life 40 Days for Life is an internationally coordinated peaceful, lawful prayer vigil outside 247 abortion facilities in the United States as well as locations in eight other countries. It runs for 40 consecutive days starting today, Wednesday, March 9, and ending Sunday, April 17 (one week before Easter). 40 Days for Life has borne remarkable fruit throughout the world since it started in 2007. What, exactly, has 40 Days for Life accomplished? 3,599 babies have been saved....and those are just the ones we know about! 9 abortion clinics have shut down completely. Many people with past abortion experiences have stepped forward to begin post-abortion healing and recovery. 400,000 people have pledged to fast and keep vigil outside abortion clinics.
